Have you ever met anyone who did this?
I remember a brief time when I was very young (probably preschool age), whenever someone mentioned the number 19, they would always sing, "19...19...19!" It was mostly adults who did this. I had no idea why, until this surfaced on YouTube...
Apparently, there was a Channel 11 in Minneapolis that had the same jingle. Did people in Minneapolis sing, "11...11...11" whenever the number 11 was mentioned?
Channel 9 in Cincinnati used to have a jingle that went, "Brrrrring! Channel 9!" Over 40 years later, people still imitate it whenever the topic of Channel 9 comes up. When you ask what channel a show is on, they still answer, "Brrrrring! Channel 9!" Another one just like this is "Watch it! TV 48!"
Only qualifying one I remember as a kid in Boston was WLVI / Ch.56, who had the jingle "WLVI is part of living... living 56"

I remember when Keith Shipman, the on-air face of KCPQ sports was on KIRO radio, and the radio show host said "KCPQ, ding, ding!" Shipman replied that the station hasn't used that campaign in years.
I still say "Good Lookin' 11" in my head when I think of that station, and when I tune in the new KIRO radio at the frequency of a former oldies station, I sing to myself "97.3, KBSG!"
Channel 45 in Minneapolis used to have a jingle with "Forty five!" in a sing-song voice that people would imitate. I believe the station has retired the jingle.

That music was better than it needed to be! Kind of like Love Boat with a teaspoon of prog stirred in.
The video has a "Too Many Cooks" vibe, which is not a bad thing
Another thing like that is "Now is the time and Channel 12 is the place", which was a big slogan in probably the early '80s or so. Even today, when a person says, "Now is the time," somebody inevitably says, "Channel 12 is the place."

Back in the 80s, the NBC O&O's had a jingle where they mentioned the channel number and city, then closed with the three-note tune that signifies the network. For example:
"We are Channel 4, New York City. NBC!"
"We are Channel 4, Washington, DC. NBC!"
"We are Channel 4, in Los Angeles. NBC!"
Strangely enough, Chicago's affiliate is located at channel 5, because channel 4 belongs to WTMJ in Milwaukee, and as I recall, is not an O&O of the network. So it would be "Channel 5, in Chicagoland."
KBDI, (channel 12 in Denver), back oh.. '85 '86 or so, they had a station ID thing that played (help!) the outro, to the first song of Dark Side of the Moon, right after 'you race toward an early grave ...' I think the song's called 'on the run'. It always suggested driving at night, with occasional oncoming traffic, to me.
None of the Oklahoma City stations ever had a jingle that included the number, so this phenomenon is absent here.
The year I lived in Springfield MO, the CBS station, KOLR, had a jingle that went "You've got a friend at KOLR-10". I didn't hear anyone quote that jingle, probably because KOLR-10 wasn't much of a friend, given how they would pre-empt The Price Is Right with local programming and then blame it on George W. Bush.

I am still unable to say the number forty-five out loud without singing it.
Another one I remember from kiddish-hood. WAVY channel 10 (Norfolk, VA), used to do this 'daa-dada wavy tee-veeeeeeeeee ten', that once you heard it, you were stuck with it for several hours.
Another gem from the late 80s is one from CBS. Along with its national "Get Ready" campaign, the network made one available for local use by its affiliates, and unlike NBC, it wasn't restricted to O&O's, meaning any station could use it if it so wanted. In these promos, the call letters and channel number were used, so in Chicago, it would be "Get ready for the best on WBBM, Channel 2!" And, of course, the station logo was displayed below the slogan in place of the CBS eye from the national version.
KTZO/KOFY-TV 20 San Francisco used to have a jingle when the Dog and Cat appears on screen in the 1980's and 1990's.

This might be the reason for "19." This was a popular song in the 1980s that was pretty edgy EDM for its time.

Here is the Sacramento one when there was "The Spirit of California on 10" one in the mid 1980's.
But it was a package meant for the Belo owned stations in that era.

That reminded me of this really popular image campaign that lots of TV stations in the US, Canada & Australia used between 1977 to the early 2010's.
