Title: NJ seems to be back to using state name interstate shields
Post by: NJRoadfan on August 07, 2010, 11:42:45 PM
At least the ground mounted ones anyway. I saw a few new ones back in 2005 that were put up to direct traffic for the PGA Tournament out to local highways, I thought they were a fluke... until today. NJDOT put up a few new ones off of Exit 41 on I-78. Lets hope this is a permanent change.

Are you sure they're NJDOT and not contractors?

If they were contractor installed and the said contractor did a good job, you can rest assured that they'll never get another contract in this state.

I know the ones installed for the PGA were definitely NJDOT.
