I think that US flag should be changed. The stars don't represent certain states, but they should. Also, there could be 50 stripes.
I'm sure this thread is going to go over well.
This should be our new flag:

If we ever get a 51st state, I want three rows of seventeen stars.
From 2017: https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=20478.0
They tried adding stripes for new states. The flag that inspired the US national anthem had 15 stars and 15 stripes. They decided adding stripes was impractical and therefore reverted to 13.
The flag should change every four years. Change the field for the star background from blue to white. The stars are either red or blue based on how each state voted in the most recent Presidential election. The 13 stripes are similarly red or blue.
51 stripes could work if it's like this (with each segment being much wider than it is tall):
****010203
****040506
****070809
****101112
****131415
****161718
****192021
2223242526
2728293031
3233343536
3738394041
4243444546
4748495051

Have an idea for the new appearence?
There's a group of "sovereign state" folks who actually have redesigned the US flag. Vertical stripes, and blue stars on a white field. Something about "land and soil jurisdiction" vs. "maritime jurisdiction."

With 50 strips, you don't have red, white, and blue. You have pink and blue.
The original plan was to add a stripe in addition to a star for each new state, but at 15 it was decided that that was too unwieldy and it was reduced back to the present 13 - one stripe for each of the 13 of the original 16 British North America colonies that revolted against the Crown (the other three remained loyal and formed the nucleus of what is now Canada).

Yuck. Visually unappealing. Which I guess jives with their philosophy. Nothing like evoking the imagery of jail bars to get across their secret fascism.
Because when states oppress people, that's okay. It's only a problem when the Feds do it. :ded:

Kind of reminds me of the US Customs flag.
