Title: Vintage driving education movies
Post by: Stephane Dumas on April 26, 2023, 12:30:04 PM
I found by luck, this old late 1950s-early 1960s vintage driving driving education movie. You might enjoy these vintage views of the Indiana East-West toll road and Ohio Turnpike.

And some of you might remember these old Disney cartoons titled "Motor Mania", "Freewayphobia", "Goofy's freeway troubles".

Most of that large Brook Park Ford facility was torn down over the last few years, what's.left is also destined for the wrecking ball.

Since the Ford property is directly east of landlocked Cleveland Hopkins Airport, Cleveland  should annex this area for future airport expansion which is in the initial planning stages.

Ford did several driver's ed movies.  The ones I saw in the 80s were done in the 50's and 60's.  And the Ohio Highway Patrol had put out a very gory driver's ed movie that was shot in the 50s.
