A 3di version of a recent thread, which only consisted of 2dis.
I-695 MD stood out to me, with 3 interstates (including 2 2di) with an endpoint at it: I-70, I-97 and I-795
I-278 NY terminates I-87, as well as I-678 and I-295 at its own endpoint.
I-278 (NY/NJ) actually has I-87, I-295, I-478, and I-678
I-295 (DE/NJ) has I-76, I-195, I-276, and I-495
I-580 (CA) has I-205, I-238, I-880, and I-980
Related question: Which Chicagoland 3di gets the credit for terminating the east end of I-88? I-290 or (maybe and?) I-294?
I-494 (MN): I-394, I-694 twice (common endpoints)
I-275 in Florida is the west end of I-4, I-175, and I-375.

I'd say both. All basically one interchange.

The through lanes on I-88 go right into I-290. For I-294 you have to exit.
I'm going to pretend that the DC Beltway is all one road, even though it passes through 3 jurisdictions. It terminates I-495X, I-270, I-270Y, I-595 and I-395. And formerly terminated I-295.

Tomato, tomato. Not that different than when a lot of interstates terminate at another and one direction is signed as an exit and the other lanes default to the other direction.

That doesn't make me change my mind at all. So I-290 East terminates I-88 but I-290 West doesn't?
I'd go with I-88 terminating at I-290 - there's an enhanced mile marker for I-88 east of I-294. (https://goo.gl/maps/FeTK2Dt4zVeSE2mu9).
EDIT: And then there's this sign that seems to contradict the mile marker. (https://goo.gl/maps/jkZmQLMrykFRy8sr9)
In the Bay Area, I-580 terminates I-880, I-980, I-238, and I-205. I-280 and I-680 each terminate three others, but those are apparently pretty common.

That sign seems odd to me since there's no way you can actually be on mainline I-290 at that point. Plus I-290 doesn't begin at that interchange.

That's pretty standard though once there's no other choice but to end up on the route displayed.

The overhead, yes. The ground mounted "begin" sign, no. "Begin" means that the route it's referring to starts at that moment.

This ISTHA sign says "hold my beer"

I-94 doesn't end here at all. It just took the Left fork at Tri-State/Edens Spur split, just north/before this sign
Honestly, I think it is just how ISTHA signs route designation changes. There is a similar sign also at the south end of I-294, saying "294 Ends. Begin 80 94" Obviously neither I-80 nor I-94 begins in South Holland, IL, but that seems to be standard ISTHA practice
The only reason the north end of I-355 doesn't have a "355 Ends Begin 290" sign is because the north end of 355 is IDOT's not ISTHA's

I'm with @Alex4987 on this one... does I-295 no longer end at I-495 at National Harbor? That's news to me.

I-276 seems like a little bit of a stretch considering that I-276 and I-295 both feed into I-95 around the same point, but there's no access to either from the other (except through US 1).

I-295 still ends at I-95/495 - https://goo.gl/maps/dGVdAnf789kfM1LHA
HLR has it there as well, pdf pg 15 at https://roads.maryland.gov/OPPEN/2021%20Prince%20George's.pdf
All the connections to National Harbor and MD 210 are considered ramps (see pdf pg. 63 for example).

Ah, I see. I'm sorry I missed that. But even that sort of sign isn't always precisely located.

I see this false "I 4 Ends" sign daily and I want to yell at whoever signed off on it. I think the Toll Authority. No, it does not "end", it goes to the left. This confuses out of town drivers, wondering why it ended, if they are going to meet back up with 94 east of IL.

I know it's a typo but a couple users on here think we all should have perfect spelling and grammar :bigass:
It's backlash against Florida's recent laws. Illinois is saying Florida's way of thinking ends here.
