https://www.cbsnews.com/sacramento/news/steve-harwell-founding-lead-singer-of-smash-mouth-dead-at-56/RIP Steve Harwell I remember Smashmouth at their peak in the early 2000's.
You can't deny that Smash Mouth was the definitive rock act of the new millennium, as well as the antithesis of the boy band craze that was going on at the same time. Their songs are as timeless now as they were back then, especially Walking on the Sun, All Star and I'm a Believer. It truly is alarming how quickly we're losing people from all eras, from the old-timers (Bob Barker and Jimmy Buffett) to the more recently born ones such as this guy.

Truly ahead of his time. Who else was making fun of lifted trucks in 1995?
