Proud to announce this and want to on its own thread.
As part of the 25th year of road meets in 2024, my father and I have been designing a permanent 25th year lanyard to wear at meets for this year and so on for eternity. As part of a deal with Dan Murphy (roadwaywiz), we will be printing and distributing these lanyards all year. There is a signup form here (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1c1GfZFG8AeMyXzQIU_2AU4Tiy_lxXLQfTc7QnhKmyGE/edit). You don't have to have attended a meet recently to get one of these.
The designs are still being finished, but I'm thrilled we're going to do this. The form has 5 notes: Name (Pronouns) | Handle | Home State | First Meet (Name, Year) | Website (optional).
Please sign up on the form I linked.
This is such a cool idea! I filled out the form for my lanyard!

For those who wish to see what it looks like, and please do sign up!
I should clarify that it's not tied to any meet.
Most excellent.
I honestly can't remember when my first meet was. I suspect it was a three-person job (Sherman Cahal, Pete Jenior, and me) at Greenbo Lake State Park in Kentucky when KY 67 (the Industrial Parkway) was under construction, but I'm not sure of the year of that meet.

Thank Pete for his old site, but May 2002. If you wish to have me send you one it would say Ohio Valley 2002.
The first batch of lanyards are done. I really emphasize you sign up if you've been to a meet period.
For those who aren't Facebook friends with me, I need your addresses to send them off by mail.
Got mine!
Also received mine, and then the cat felt it was her favorite thing to play with - saved it from her.
I got mine! Thanks so much!
I sent you a message on here with my address.
Received mine! Thanks!
Got mine the other day - I love the extra little goodies! Thanks!
Had Laura surprise me with my lanyard (I hadn't requested one) the last time she came to visit me -- but since then I've moved and it's in a box somewhere. What's the lead time on making these? If I don't find mine within <lead time> of the next road meet I attend, I might want to request another, even if there's some nominal cost for it.
The home state would be the same; I moved within PA. I don't remember if the lanyard had my pronouns on it (I'm not sure if whoever put in the original order had known that I'd had two sets of pronouns), so I might just want to order one for that reason. ( Also, the reason for Laura's visit may or may not have had something to do with that ;) )
