Title: Old button copy signs in the LA area - My photos
Post by: boilerup25 on December 28, 2023, 05:23:26 PM
My (non-exhaustive) compilation of old button copy signs I saw from my most recent trip to California. Also featuring signs for a state route that doesn't exist anymore, CA 42.

I still need to get on obtaining a couple photos of those old CA 42 gantries.

Definitely go for it! Especially because there are newer sign gantries without CA 42 signs, so once those old gantries are replaced, no trace of CA 42 will remain. There are still a lot of old button copy gantries in the LA area, but I saw that those are being phased out for gantries with newer reflective material just like everywhere else in the country.
