Question:
Which one you think will happen in SE Houston first? Extending E. Orem Dr or Expanding Almeda-Genoa Rd?
Option 1: Extending E. Orem Dr from west of Cullen Blvd all the way to SH 288, finally connecting with W. Orem Dr

Option 2: Expanding Almeda-Genoa Rd from 2 lanes to 4 lanes, between SH 288 and MLK Blvd if not Mykawa Rd

Option 3: Neither; City of Houston has other plans

As someone who grew up in SE Houston, there's these two roads that are kinda opposites of each
E. Orem Dr is 4-lane divided but doesn't reallly go past Cullen Blvd (let alone all the way to SH 288)
Almeda-Genoa Rd has weekly truck traffic, 45 speed limit, and even connects from Telephone Rd all the way to SH 288 but is a 2-lane road with ditches, all the way through.
Both of these are long overdue for a update, but which one you think will happen first?
