What's affected here is that the right lane of I-94 West will become exit-only to I-394 and the center lane will be a split lane between I-94 and the I-394 ramp. The goal is to relieve congestion from cars that pile up in the right lane trying to get onto I-394 as they come out of the tunnel going WB on 94. Currently three lanes of I-94 head westbound while the ramp to I-394 splits from the right lane as well as an exit-only auxiliary lane that forms after leaving the tunnel.
