Title: Ban on home distilling (passed in 1868) overturned by federal judge
Post by: mgk920 on July 15, 2024, 03:50:54 PM
It was in a Texas case. What will NASCAR do ? ? ?  Moonshine running is their very heritage.  If the decision is upheld on appeal, it could well mean no more moonshiners v revenuers.

2:00am races, obviously. It's the most dangerous time of night to drive.

Ratings and attendance may suck but competition is limited.

I prefer to pretend the version of events where he threw Frank Nitti off the roof of the Chicago Courthouse as how things really went down.

Especially those early A.M. rally stages!

I always thought that distilling for home use was perfectly legal, but where the feds will get you is on sales without taxes — hence the revenooers. Might have been different during Prohibition days, of course.

Hobby stills have been legal for some time.
