Title: F-750 falls through Babbs Bridge, Gorham, Maine
Post by: Molandfreak on September 05, 2024, 04:46:06 PM
A driver of an overweight vehicle hauling gravel ignored warning signs, plunging through the bridge into the Presumpscot River. The truck weighed about 6 times the legal limit for the bridge.

A local steward is advocating for repairs to be made as soon as possible.

Average Ford driver.

Also, only a $2500 fine? They caused it, so they should pay every single penny of the repair costs.

Obviously one of our favorite roadgeek comic strips applies here.  I love Calvin's mom's response.
