One of the most prolific voice and stage actors, including the voice of Darth Vader in Star Wars, James Earl Jones had died at 93. RIP.
He never did say what the answer was for the Riddle of Steel.
Very wide range of movies that I love that he was in.
Star Wars Episodes 3-6
Field of Dreams
Jack Ryan movies
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Coming to America
Lion King
Obi Wan has taught you well
Here is James Earl Jones doing VO work for CNN.
I have to say he made Darth Vader in Star Wars. His iconic voice made us fear the evil character and gave the dark suit its sinister personality.
David Prowse might of wore the costume, but Jones was Darth Vader.

Can't forget The Sandlot, where he played Mr. Mertle, a former pro ballplayer-turned-junkyard owner with the most vicious dog that ever roamed the grounds.
Drat. Missed him in my celebrity death pool entry.
Massive loss for the planet.
One of my favorite lines of his - "And I was never here".
R.I.P.
Mike
He had the meats.
He was a spokesman for Bell Atlantic/Verizon for a long time. I still remember some of the more humorous ads.

"This is the book that got Bubba cooked." Great ad.

His voice was heard on Bell Atlantic pay phones when placing a call too.

That wasn't Jones.
It's Ving Rhames - Marsellus Wallace from Pulp Fiction.
Let's not forget his monologue in Field of Dreams.

How much of a spoiler can there be in a 60 year old classic movie?

Depends on if you watched the movie or not.
A segment of Gen Z basically considers spoilers of any kind (regardless of whether said spoiler is major or minor) to be worse than death. Maybe not for a 60 year old movie but any new release films or video games has people go absolutely berserk if they find out any details beyond "this product is releasing on this date". I've seen people even upset that posters/boxes gave away more than they wanted to know.

Easy solution to that, stay offline or just don't talk to people. That is akin to people like my dad getting upset when he would VCR a game and didn't avoid social situations where the result would be spoiled.
There's a Downfall parody clip who did a tribute to James Earl Jones.

I don't think he was in this one.
RIP to an all-time great.
My reaction to the news was the same as his final line in Revenge of the Sith.
"Noooooooooo!!!!"
His voice helped make Treehouse of Horror an annual tradition. Like it was so good and so popular that they had to do it again and 30-whatever years later, we're still rolling.
James Earl Jones actually gets credit as the first speaking lines for Maggie Simpson. The second segment in the original Treehouse of Horror with the Amityville Horror parody; Maggie's head turns around backward and she says, "This is indeed a disturbing universe" and the voice is Jones.
Nice trivia answer for ya some day.
But it's all about his read during their adaptation of The Raven. Like I'm pretty sure that segment wouldn't have worked with someone else's voice.
RIP, man. The disturbance in The Force will eventually subside.
