Came across NY 365A today and got me thinking about what the highest numbered suffixed "A" route would be in the country. I'd imagine NJ has some crazy "5XXA" county route out there somewhere (if not "5XXA Spur"). Anyone venture to find out what the highest numbered "A" route is?

(On a tangent, MA 122A always bugged me due to cramming all those digits into a MA route shield. Looks ugly, even when done right)

NY 991A if we're counting NYS reference routes.
Monroe County Route 939A (a former State Road and alignment of US 1) is a thing on Sugarloaf Key.

That AR route looks interesting. Shield has a canoe on it, but I can't quickly find information on the Internet about what kind of route it really is.

Gah. I specifically meant to exclude them in my OP. Phooey.
I'm guessing the AR 902-1A is probably leading to some state park. Whether it's signed or not is a coin flip.

Some are, some aren't. Boat ramps and parks.

(This one is an error, it's supposed to be "722A".)

Which is not really a suffixed route in the normal sense...9007 is the seventh section of 90, so it's more of a branch of 90, but 90A is a separate route with its own sections (90A01 etc). The section numbers appear on km posts, while shields (extremely rare) have the two-digit numbers.
Always awkward when my sockpuppet shows up to answer my own question.

That looks to be a case with many of what look like the high-numbered suffixed routes internationally. The way we represent them makes them match my regex even though they don't fit what we're looking for here.
Thoughts on this one?
