Post by: cahwyguy on December 01, 2024, 03:31:51 PM
It's a new month, and you know what that means: A new set of headlines for folks to discuss and dissect. You can find them at https://cahighways.org/wordpress/?p=17060 . This will give you something to do other than eating leftover turkey.

There is some concern in the historic 101 groups about the status of Don Williams.  Someone is obviously paying for the domain on his page even after all these years.

I'm wondering how much increased use the Terminal Island Freeway will get with the Vincent Thomas Bridge closed?  I'm seeing southbound closure on the CA 103 portions right now.

Putting a bike lane on the San Rafael Bridge just plain wasn't a good idea.  The cyclist demand just hasn't been there and has been given ample opportunity to develop.  That said...I might need to get my bike out there before any changes are made since it sounds like fun.

Not only paying for the domain, which you can do multiple years in advance. Paying for the webhosting, and paying for the certificate for https.

SR14 needs to be widened and they're now talking about removing a GP lane. You gotta be kidding me.
