Ours is right next to our Barnes and Noble.  I went to B&N last night to pick up some gift cards for a couple of people and saw the closed Party City.  It still has all the posters in the windows and all the merchandise of the shelves as if it were simply to reopen soon.  They even had their holiday hours up for Christmas and New Years on the doors along with a hand written note apologizing for closing at 3 pm on Friday.

Maybe it will be replaced by a store for people who lie in bed and watch Netflix all weekend.

They had a pretty big warehouse along I-88 by IL-59 for decades. Coming home late at night you could see the colored logo for a couple miles each direction.

Warehouse got sold to Handi-Foil who put up their own similar signage
