I remember him whenever he had to cover NBA Games.

I remember when he was an early SportsCenter anchor and mostly known as "Bryant Gumbel's brother."

Many a Sunday of my teenage and college years was spent tuning in to Channel 2 (in both Chicago and Los Angeles) and hearing Greg announce for the "original" NFL on CBS. Like everybody else, I always preferred him over Bryant.

This is a Game show pilot that featured Greg Gumbel. Then again hes a legend for covering NFL games.
