KY 136 in Ohio County, Ky. isn't a bad little drive between US 431 and US 231, but the aging, narrow bridges on that stretch of highway connecting Livermore, Ky. to Hartford, Ky. have long been in need of replacement.
So KYTC is going to replace all six bridges on 136 in the county, starting next week (Jan. 20).
The job will be done in stages, with a couple of complete closures this summer, scheduled to avoid problems with school traffic. Final completion is scheduled for October 2026.
