QuoteTo help us understand the distribution and flow of water in the United States, the US Geological Survey and partners have created the National Hydrography Dataset Plus High Resolution (NHDPlus High Resolution).

With over 32 million features, the NHDPlus High Resolution provides a detailed view of the nation's waters, complete with a rich set of attributes that enable you to create your own maps and use in analysis, filter, customize symbology, and configure pop-ups.

I've just started looking at this. "Details" does not mean the names of all the creeks, rivers, ponds, etc. that are shown. It might be on a layer I haven't found.

However, the terrain is detailed enough to show cuts and fills along highways -- even those that were never completed. Here you can see the I-291 ramp work in Rocky Hill, CT. I wonder what else we can find.
