Here is a PDF I found interesting of NJDOT applying to the Army Corps of Engineers regarding the current Racoon Creek Bridge in Logan Township, NJ on US 130 that was built in 2017 to replace an older left bridge.

Shouldn't that be a lift bridge? At any rate, here is what the bridge in question looked like before (https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8009212,-75.3558159,3a,75y,57.37h,77.99t/data=!3m8!1e1!3m6!1s4fINHn7C79TjqCG2PbjTzw!2e0!5s20160701T000000!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26pitch%3D12.011943518780214%26panoid%3D4fINHn7C79TjqCG2PbjTzw%26yaw%3D57.373945642806625!7i13312!8i6656?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDEyOS4xIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D) and after replacement (https://www.google.com/maps/@39.8010429,-75.3559236,3a,75y,57.37h,77.99t/data=!3m8!1e1!3m6!1scDUiZeoyXQottlVALaTxxw!2e0!5s20230501T000000!6shttps:%2F%2Fstreetviewpixels-pa.googleapis.com%2Fv1%2Fthumbnail%3Fcb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile%26w%3D900%26h%3D600%26pitch%3D12.011943518780214%26panoid%3DcDUiZeoyXQottlVALaTxxw%26yaw%3D57.373945642806625!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu&g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDEyOS4xIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D).

What about it? Is there something unusual in here regarding the permit or approval?

No not at all. I found the letter itself interesting.  You never get to witness the goings on of a bridge being planned and built. Plus I'm glad to see such a letter shared just like AASHTO letters for route changes or proposals.

The only interesting thing about this bridge was this one time my car was parked by it.
