Evidently those in charge at the Super Bowl didn't think Alaska was worthy, as those victims were left out of the memorial moment for Washington and Philadelphia.

I had an excellent joke along these lines, but decided it was beyond the bounds of decency for this forum...

So you're saying that anything that occurs in AK or HI does not count?

It's a crash. It's just not the third.

Well here is the third of that nature.

They say things happen in threes.

First the Washington crash. Then Philadelphia.

When the second happened I knew a third would have to occur and viola, this came about.

If you wait long enough, a third of anything will happen.

"Asteroid strikes earth" - oh, it'll happen twice again within 60 billion years or so.

I'm talking within days.

The fact that nothing happens for ages. Then all of a sudden a few of the same suddenly happen. Yes I'm for coincidence, but have to admit that's it's strange that coincidence has the same MO.

smaller accidents just don't get too much attention until they come on the heels of a bigger crash. How many people heard about this one, for example?
QuoteOn January 2, 2025, about 1409 Pacific standard time, an experimental amateur built Vans Aircraft RV-
10, N8757R, was destroyed when it was involved in an accident near Fullerton, California. The pilot and
passenger were fatally injured, and there were 19 ground injuries, 8 of which were serious, and 11
minor.

They are wrong. Don't copy the lazy and wrong people.

People unfortunately die in a seemingly infinite but mostly randomly-timed series, not "threes".
