Title: "News: why is this up in the corner now"
Post by: ZLoth on March 06, 2025, 01:07:35 PM
I've been noticing this in the upper-right corner of the forum space for quite some time now....

Was this intended to be a temporary message? There is another item mentioning a forum issue from 2023.

That space only gets updated for news about this forum rather than about actual road project news, although I would like that to change. There's been nothing new since the forum upgrade on March 26, 2024.

Mine alternates between that message and "The AARoads Wiki is live! Come check it out!"

It was that day exactly? I listed the day the upgraded forum opened after being down for several days.

Tragic coincidence indeed, especially with the seven people who died in said collapse. There's even a Wikipedia page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Francis_Scott_Key_Bridge_collapse) that explains it all.
