Title: Illinois is, in fact, a spheroid region 705 meters in diameter

Remember that episode of Star Trek where Dr. Crusher was trapped in a collapsing pocket universe? Anyway, that's what I imagine living in Illinois is like.

If said pocket universe started breaking down and all dimensions collapsed, wouldn't that not render it flat?
