Buc-ee's has sued itself to stop Buc-ee's from opening a location in Buc-ee's County, Pennsylvania. "Out of concern for local residents, we have decided to file a lawsuit to stop the store we are seeking permission to build," the company said.
Representatives for Buk-ii's Super Mercado were also contacted for this story but no comment was returned.
What the buck, man.

Dam.
I thought April 1st happened already. :D
Just waiting for the Buc-ee's/Stuckey's collab.
Finally, a lawsuit I can put my full support behind.
Why isn't this in the General board? Clearly all Buc-ee's topics belong there.

Why isn't there a Buc-ee's subforum? Where we can have threads about the longest highways we've clinched that do and don't have a Buc-ee's, and about counties with and without Buc-ee's that we've visited?

I'm personally waiting for the start of the Second Caterpillar War between the Holy Buc-ee's Empire, the Most Serene Republic of Wawa, the Sheetz Federation, and the Royal Farms Protectorate.

I'm waiting for Buc-ee's to sue Stuckey's for copyright infringement. They seem to go after everyone else, might as well not hold back on an older brand.
I think this is needed.
I look forward to the next time I can take a massive shit in a uber clean Buc-ee's toilet.
Where is the thread about Buc-ee's trying to take advantage of the interregnum to set up a location in St. Peter's Square?
Doesn't a typical Buc-ee's require real estate exceeding the size of the Vatican City?

Probably not the size of Vatican City, but it would take up all of St. Peter's Square. Of course with the number of people going to the Vatican, they need more clean restrooms.
I used to be drawn to Buc-ee's, especially the Wharton location since I have passed by there so many times, during the first couple of years after it opened in 2009, but since then I have grown apart from it and wouldn't miss it at all if it ever improbably and hypothetically closed down (the last time I've ever set foot in on any Buc-ee's property was at the end of 2016). I began growing away from Buc-ee's when they said no dining-in allowed; I understand why Buc-ee's won't add tables and chair for dining in (I was given numerous reasons personally from one of their regional managers as to why while I visited the Luling location). But now Buc-ee's has grown perhaps to monstrous proportions that now local businesses that share the same town as Buc-ee's are in danger (like endangered species), of being closed down and elimination of competition.
(I scared that I might be banned from here for saying this but) I am one of those people I generally prefer local, family-owned stores/shops over the mega corporate-owned chains; I've been treated/served better by local, single-location in my experience. I do hope that the smaller stores can remain resilient and remain fiercely competitive to Buc-ee's to maintain prices. I'm afraid if the local places disappear and Buc-ee's is the only surviving place left, it might gouge up the prices and put a strain on the local economy. Basically I'm afraid of a possible monopoly.
Or am I needlessly paranoid for little to no reason?
Agents of Buc-ee's will soon be at your home. There is no point in running as it will only prolong the inevitable. Make it easy on yourself and don't resist.

They'd have to come up with a smaller store layout to fit inside the Vatican.

I just wanted you to know Alanlore has become the office sensation. We all hope for and dread the return of the Age of Tasteful Beige.

Vatican City is about 120 acres. A typical Buc-ee's is a little less than 2 acres.

Indeed, the first page up was on Alan Dunes-Flamingo.
I'm siding with Buc-ees on this one.

Sacred Petroleum Auto LeagueRoyal Farms is the 1 seed in the Chicken Division, not gonna lie.
Given that their mascot is a beaver, I'm frankly surprised that they're not expanding to Portland, OR, or anywhere else in the state for that matter. It would certainly be a fitting West Coast debut, for sure.

They ought to be looking to open at locations adjacent to strip clubs.
You'll probably never see them in California due to the blend of gas required to be sold here. You pretty much can get the same experience at Eddie World on I-15 near Barstow anyways.
