Title: I-41 ugrade notes
Post by: mgk920 on April 23, 2025, 10:52:28 AM
- The bridges at the I-41/WI 15/Outagnie County 'OO' (Nortland Ave) interchange near Appleton are gone and some forms are in place for the re-engineered new bridges.  The previous 'par-clo' interchange there is being replaced with a DDI.  Three of the four 'right turns' there are still open but will close before the end of next month.

Some grading work is visible at the County 'A' (Lynndale Av) overcrossing. I am unsure of what is being done there, but WisDOT is not installing an interchange (it is too close to other interchanges for modern I-standards), even though ROW for one was preserved in the late 1950s when the freeway was first built (opened as four lanes in 1960). Are they widening the street?

I read that the work by Lynndale Ave is for a new culvert.
