Glad you found a home for them so quickly!
So when I went to the post office to mail the maps yesterday, my wife saw what I was carrying and was flabbergasted that anyone wanted them: "Why in the world would anyone want old maps?"

Ask her why anyone would want history textbooks, since all they talk about is old things that already happened.
My wife went with me to Oakland in the middle of 2020-era COVID to pick up an almost complete California Highways & Public Works collection from a BART director. Apparently the Oakland Public Library didn't want the donation of physical media. I don't think my wife realized the significance of the donation until I showed hard bound CHPW prices on eBay.
