Title: Canada?
Post by: Alps on July 26, 2025, 11:21:33 PM
Is currently not listed with a moderator. I've been the moderator for some time? Shouldn't I have the rights to moderate the Canada subforum?...

The bigger question is, why are likes suddenly back?

But Canada is too goated to have a moderator. The only place more goated to not have a moderator is, well, you know...

I think a Canadian should have the rights to moderate the Canada forum. So this leaves us with what, three people?

I have a spreadsheet of the 500 members with the most posts (at least 300 or so), and I seem to remember 15-20 people from Canada. My computer is currently in the repair shop, so I can't check right now. This number includes inactive members, though.

I will edit this post to include the number (including by province and by active/inactive) when I get my computer back.

As for who should be moderator, unfortunately, you seem to give off NE2 vibes sometimes.

Looks like a few other regional boards lack a moderator.
As for Canada, maybe it's related to tariff issues?

Sarcasm has its proper place.  On AARoads, doubly so.

Maybe someone's trying to tell you something.  The late Erma Bombeck said that when she was working on her short-lived TV series Maggie in 1981, she knew the show had been canceled when she pulled into the parking lot one day and the maintenance guy was washing away her name from her parking space.

I just had a flashback attack while reading this. I think it's time to go.

There was a recent purge of moderators who were inactive on the boards.
