That fire effect looks like moving leaves to me, as if piles of leaves were on conveyor belts or something.

It reminds me of the Geocities era of web design with its abysmal quality, but that's part of the charm

It was generated with CoolTest.com, and stored on my network server where the service is exposed to the Internet. I need to make sure that hotlinking was enabled, and that some GeoIP rules were in effect on the reverse proxy server. My normal rules allow for United States-only access, but for image hosting, everyone except Cuba, China, Russia, North Korea, and Vietnam should be able to view.
