Regarding the acquisition of pre-owned Samsung Galaxy flagship devices, a consumer advisory is in effect.
Specifically, the Galaxy S22 Ultra model from 2022 presents a higher incidence of hardware failure compared to other recent Samsung flagship models. Reported issues include, but are not limited to, modem and USB-C port malfunctions. So I would avoid this model if you are looking to buy a used or refurbished phone. Luckily, I skipped this model; I went from the S21+ (256GB Black), to the S23 Ultra (512GB Phantom Black), and now the S25 Ultra (512GB Titanium PinkGold Unlocked).
