The left hand turn from Rocks Road onto Us 101 was wild to pull off the only time I tried it. The Eucalyptus grove didn't exactly help with visibility and wasn't like the median was super wide. I'm surprised it took this long for Caltrans to stop certain movements.
The removal of the old Route 49 bridge at the American River has been wildly unpopular around Auburn. It was something of an attraction for those hiking near the river confluence. I guess it could have been worse, Auburn Dam could have been completed.
For some reason the hills related to Route 37 in San Pablo Bay has been really unpopular with Fresno Bee opinion writers. I can't figure out why given it doesn't affect Fresno in any way.
