it's like going from a car that reliably transports you to point B, to Ace Rothstein's Cadillac.
Behold, the worst Google result I've ever gotten. We've all gotten "not quite what I'm looking for" results from Google over the years, but I think this is the first time I've ever gotten something THIS irrelevant.

And guess what...this is all on purpose, because some asshole thought people were getting results from Google too fast (https://www.wheresyoured.at/the-men-who-killed-google/)!
Ah, I'll have to share this with my wife. One of her favorite things to say to me is "Google it" when I ask to detail something she is describing. Perhaps I'll actually do what she says for a change (I usually use Yahoo) and get a Google result about Inflammatory Bowel Syndrome.
At least you got a real scientific publication about . . . something (?), as opposed to a website comprised of 90% ads and 10% poor writing about the rumor mill topic of the day.
I wish there was an option to turn off the Gemini search results.

The National Institute of Health does not count as real science nowadays given that they don't have Chilean highway shield standards.
Speaking of random suggestions, Youtube (owned by Google) has in the past year or so started putting in many suggested search results when I try to search for specific types of videos, which is very annoying and not relevant to what I'm trying to search.
