Title: County Route J6
Post by: Max Rockatansky on October 20, 2025, 07:34:00 AM
County Route J6 is a 22.27-mile multi-county highway located Stanislaus County and San Joaquin County.  Said County Route begins at California State Route 108 in Stanislaus County along McHenry Avenue.  From California State Route 108 the highway continues into Escalon in San Joaquin County where it transitions to Escalon-Bellota Road.  The remaining balance of the County Route is carried by Escalon-Bellota Road to a terminus at California State Route 26.

County Route J6 was commissioned in 1960 along with numerous other County Sign Routes in San Joaquin County.  The largely direct north/south corridor is mostly known for the strange County Route 6-7 shields which appear on Escalon-Bellota Road from California State Route 120 to Mariposa Road.
