Three historic bridges dating back to the creation of Bull Shoals Lake (early 1950s) are being offered up for donation. This is the latest instance of MoDOT replacing historic bridges in the White River valley. Other recent disappearances include the MO-76 bridge over the White River (Bull Shoals), and more recently, MO-86 over Long Creek (Table Rock Lake).
Each of the three bridges carries US-160. The three bridges are (going west to east): A dual-span truss over Swan Creek at Forsyth, a single-span truss over Beaver Creek near Kissee Mills, and a ten-span truss over the Little North Fork White River at Theodosia.
The Brooklyn Bridge wasn't available? :-D
