QuoteThe Federal Highway Administration has a Federal Register listing formally inviting applications for another round of grants for variable toll or 'value pricing' projects through fiscal years 2010 and 2011.
States, local government and their public authorities are eligible for federal grants. Congress authorized $12m in grants for FY2010, and a preliminary $3m for FY2011. The grants pay 80% of the cost of projects, the recipients having to raise the remaining 20%.
