Title: Burlington Bristol Bridge, August 2009

These were taken last year when on leave to NJ.

Taking pictures this year will have one small complication, for deck views or in car views at least, my car is a stickshift now, the bridge is fairly steep and due to learning to drive a stick in North Dakota, i have not really had to deal with hill starts yet.

It is, and has been proposed to be repalced over the years by various types of bridges, such as a high level girder bridge, cable stayed, but these have not come to fruition, most recent proposal was in 1990 which was narrowly defeated. The crossing is well maintained for its age, and for 10 years has not had a toll increase, so it costs two bucks to cross instead of the four dollars the philly bridges (except its sister to the south, the tacony bridge which is two dollars as well) charge.
