The swim across the Atlantic has since been removed.
Seattle - Sydney involves rowing to Hawaii from somewhere in the lower 48, using a few roads, rowing to Japan, using a few roads and then rowing to the Northern Territories and driving a good long way. Stopping at Hawaii is sensible, but going via Japan is weird - there'd not be much more rowing from HI direct to Sydney as there would rowing Japan to Australia, but why not add 20 days to your journey!
