I spotted this link about the re-opening of the South Street Bridge http://www.philly.com/philly/news/20101107_South_Street_Bridge__absent_for_2_years__reopens.html
EDIT: Someone posted a couple of nice picture of the evenement at http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/showthread.php?t=186360
The last post on that thread (on skyscrappercity) mentioned viewing towers to be built for the South St. Bridge. I hope they get built, because otherwise, asethetics wise this bridge is as exciting lukewarm milk. :pan:
The bridge looks pretty decent, can't wait to go by it. Wish I could have been there for the opening though.
Alex mentioned this in the Pennsylvania (https://www.aaroads.com/forum/index.php?topic=2410.msg82427#msg82427) thread on Friday.
