While digging around NC 12 in the vicinity of Corolla, NC on Google Maps yesterday, I stumbled upon a sign advocating the construction of the Mid-Currituck Bridge, a NCTA project that I haven't heard much about lately. Some Googling turned up several websites advocating its construction, as well as the NCTA page for it, which includes plans and computer simulations posted back in late 2009 that I found interesting.

I've been blogging about the bridge here:

I haven't been up to speed since May on the bridge as the summer and the fall have kept me away from following it closely.(buying a house can do that to you).
