I just came across an article about a website for Indiana's I-69 Exit 26 (described as heavily commercialized):

Billboards encourage travelers to check out the website. With the use of smart mobile devices increasing exponentially, this probably makes sense.
A couple of questions:
1. Do any other interstate exits have their own websites?; and
2. What other interstate exits throughout the national system are notably marketed (billboards as an example) as "destination" exits because of the number/variety of business services at such exits?
I don't know of any other exits that actually have their own websites or are marketed specifically by their exit number, but there are other exits, particularly in the sparsely populated west that are marketed well in advance of the exit as being a major stop for travel services. Little America on I-80 in Wyoming and Clines Corners on I-40 in New Mexico are two examples that come to mind.
EDIT:Little America and Clines Corners do both have their own websites.

Sure. A quick look at Google Maps shows that there are a Marriott and a Drury Inn & Suites there ... :D
I saw that exit 69 sign on another thread (best of road signs I think) and I :rofl:. And now there is a product line advertising this exit...FABULOUS!! :clap:
I kinda liked the idea of the exit ramp websites...but if this idea catches on, can you say "information overload"?? A traveler may not have time to check all of the sites, but it can help the travelers who do have time. :nod:
Destinations along US Route 1 in the Florida Keys a lot of times use the mile marker to give their location. Not quite a freeway exit, but kinda close. There's even a band called the Mile ## band - but I forgot which mile number it was.
Yeehaw Junction, Exit 193 on the Florida's Turnpike is heavily advertised for its tourist and ticket shop. There is one huge elevated billboard after another out in the orange and grapefruit groves.
