Roads and ice hockey, together at last!
NOVI, Mich. (AP) - Red Wings defenseman Nicklas Lidstrom is having a street named after him in a city about 30 miles northwest of Detroit.
The city of Novi will change Arena Drive to Nick Lidstrom Drive during a March 24 ceremony. The city announced Wednesday the event will take place at the City of Novi Ice Arena.

There's "Avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal" in, well, Montreal.
I do believe here in Pittsburgh, we've had a Mario Lemeux (sp?) Way for some time now.
Former Ohio State coaches Fred Taylor (b-ball) & Woody Hayes (ftball) have streets named after them on the OSU campus.
I will be purposely snubbing Nick Lidstrom Drive, and make sure you write that I said that!

As, as Predators fan, I concur!
