Title: Dr Frankenstein's Roadgeek Pictures
Post by: Dr Frankenstein on April 12, 2011, 05:38:59 PM
After updating it with a bunch of new pictures, I realized that I haven't posted my roadgeek album here; so here it is:
http://drfrankenstein.homedns.org:8080/images/photos/main.php?g2_itemId=9701

It is limited to pictures of Quebec right now, although pictures of ON, NY and New England may be shot and added in the future.

I apologize for the relatively poor quality, those are pretty much my first road pictures.

(EDIT: If it doesn't load, retry. I might move to a more reliable hosting service like flickr at some point, when I have a job)

As a reminder, all new content gets uploaded to my flickr gallery (http://www.flickr.com/photos/13137334@N06/collections/72157627579855350/) instead of the address in the original post. Content already on the old gallery has not been transferred, but will be in the future.

Updates to my flickr gallery will be posted here.

Right now, I've just added a set from northern Vermont, between Richford and North Troy, as well as Routes 243 and 245 in Québec, and Route 139 in both Québec and Vermont.

70 new photos, still from Vermont and the Eastern Townships: A-55, I-91, US 5, VT 105, 100, 101 and 242, from Stanstead, Newport, Troy, Jay and Derby. Enjoy!

Nota: These photos have been taken nearly a year ago.

Do you know if the northern reaches of I-91 in Vermont had those tiny gray 1/20 mile markers? They have them in place from the Massachusetts border through at least Brattleboro (exits 1-3).

I-89 has them too.

UPDATE: Photos from A-55, the entire length of I-91, some of I-93 (Vermont and northern NH), I-95 between New Haven and New York, New Jersey's I-80 and New York's Taconic State Parkway. Also contains a lot of photos of New Haven's surroundings.

BONUS: Photos from the newly opened sections of A-30 and A-530 in Québec.

UPDATE: More A-55, between Magog and Richmond, and QC 116 from there to Montreal. Bits of A-35, too.

You will also see that tags have started to appear on photos, to cross-reference roads, road sections, ramps, signs and bridges.

Oh, and the next batch will be a big one.
