That's more of an Ooops KYTC Contractor. Hopefully the publicity will spur them to compensate the victims, and backcharge the contractor.

My understanding is that KYTC actively promoted the state Board of Claims as a remedy for persons whose vehicles were damaged by the loose metal plate (which is unusual for them to encourage the filing of claims, usually the state fights these tooth and toenail) and they do plan to assess the contractor for any damages awarded by the Board of Claims.

They should and that was some shoddy workmanship.
