Title: John Simpson's Ohio Highway Site - gone.
Post by: Hot Rod Hootenanny on July 26, 2011, 11:21:16 PM
http://pages.prodigy.net/john.simpson/highways/ohhwys.html - no more.

(There was some warning, someone mention the site's impending demise at the C-bus meet back in May)

Thanks to the Wayback Machine at archive.org, it's not completely gone. The question I've had though is why the site hasn't been updated in a decade.

Probably a similar reason to why it's gone.  That said, I can't think of very many roadgeek sites that are still updated.  Pretty much everything's moved to Flickr and Wikipedia.

Meh. Flickr can't categorize photos the way I can, and Wikipedia can't tell a story the way I can. I'm not abandoning my website anytime soon.

Yeah, it's a shame.  I like the roadgeek formats for exit lists better than Wikipedia's.
