I spotted those vintage views of the Inner Belt bridge in Cleveland, one from a old 8mm from the early 1960s and a beta tape from 1985 (unfortunately the background music more or less fit with the clip).
Back then, a spire sticking out of the smog fog meant progress, baby!
Seriously, though, I love this kind of stuff. I was young at the end of the midwest industrial age and it's always been a source of fascination for me.
