Title: Some Idaho pictures
Post by: Darkchylde on August 31, 2011, 03:42:25 AM
Yeah, I've been away for a while. If you know where my blog is, I explained it there. If not, meh.

Got a new album up, it's a small one of Interstate 184 (https://picasaweb.google.com/112770093046871163786/IH184ID), all the way up in Idaho.

I'm currently working on salvaging more photos. Will update when that's done.

Glad to see you back.

I like the W-W-E-E-E-W lane setup at I-84 there. Seems like it would help unfamiliar drivers recover from wrong turns/not being able to get over in time as well as helping the merging traffic. Probably was expensive which is why we don't see anything like it a whole lot but it's a neat little setup.

Yeah, it's an elegant solution, especially with the proximity of the Franklin Road interchange.

I also uploaded an I-84 (https://picasaweb.google.com/112770093046871163786/IH84Western) album. Got to find that other camera to get the rest of the pictures.

Last time you posted here, I still had a Louisiana drivers licence.

QuoteAside from the area around Boise and Twin Falls, I-84 in Idaho is actually sort of desolate. Scenery's nice though.

I find this amusing, because in western Idaho we consider the I-84 corridor to be where everyone lives!
