A "slight misalignment" of one of the pillars is causing delays in the I-430/I-630 reconstruction project. (http://www.fox16.com/mostpopular/story/Pillar-misalignment-wont-slow-430-630-project/rVWeFWpjVUyFWwXqH-_b5A.cspx)
Wow... Why does AHTD have to drag out everything? The AR 102 (14th Street) project in Bentonville has literally taken years... To rebuild a little over 2 miles. Absolutely unreal.

It's not AHTD, per se, but the contractors. I'm beginning to think some of the "lowest bid" contractors are idiots or hire a lot of idiots.

Nope, nothing to see here, move along now....
The fault could lay with several people, not just the contractor. The contractor may have put something in wrong, but the plans could have been wrong, too.
AHTD will hold a news conference on Wednesday regarding update on I-430/I-630 interchange construction:

The press release indicates changes in traffic patterns resulting from the construction will be the primary topic. Misaligned pillars might be addressed in "current status of the project" discussion.

Wish I could be there.
I just noticed that the AHTD website has a new page dedicated to the interchange project (it has Nov. 2011 photos and an animation of what completed interchange will look like):
