Title: michiganhighways.org - gone the way of US 112?
Post by: tvketchum on December 01, 2011, 07:01:53 PM
The URL no longer seems to work. Did Chris give up on the site with all that is going on in his life?

I don't suppose it's good the domain name lapsed, even if the IP address is good.

it could be a temporary thing if Chris is switching registrars for the domain name, or if the renewal was delayed for some reason. I'd give it some time to see what happens.

That seems to be the case since the domain name is functioning this morning.

I think you get 30 days to renew after a lapse before it's open season for anyone who wants it.

Godaddy definitely gives you time (and many notices) before the domain is out of your hands. During that period, your URL remains in place.
