I am kindof surprised that the Thruway Authority kept that old access roadway as an E-ZPass-only exit from northbound I-87.  I'd think that that ROW would be worth a good chunk of change if it were to be vacated and sold off.

So am I.  That ramp, as it is now, makes no sense whatsoever.

In this economy, what are you gonna sell? Plenty of other vacant land in the area as it is. $2 million is actually shockingly good for an overrun given overall cost.

Given the size of the project, that's more or less on budget...especially considering the multi-year delays the project incurred.
