Found this picture while browsing through that gallery. I got to say it look pretty cool! And I have never seen that type of exit ramp being that close to neighborhood.

That is not unusual for Maryland:

Man, the exit for Spring St. from US-101 northbound (exit 2C) in Los Angeles could certainly use one of those!

There's not even a BGS for this exit, save for a tiny green sign mounted at the EXIT gore assembly itself. You could miss it if you blink on a good traffic day. Then again, that section of freeway is rather frequently jammed up anyway...

These are all from 50/301 east of the Bay Bridge.  I remember when I was a kid this was just a divided highway.  I thoguht it was cool how a divided highway was upgraded to a freeway with the development along the road.  I like how Maryland signs the street name next to the route shield.  I wish Florida did more of this. I have been annoyed by the signing for the exit off I-95 for SR 68 in Ft Pierce.  It only has Orange Ave as the control city.  I would like to see a Maryland style BGS with the street name and shield and then control city of Ft Pierce... not really much else off that exit
