flaroadgeek has an avatar of it, Wikipedia has a shield of it. My question is, since I can't find any bit of info on it, is it planned, proposed or even signed yet? Is there potential routing, or is it just nothing at all?
Well I have not seen a shield of Interstate 975 on Wikipedia. As for mine, I just made that up in AI just to have something different. It would be cool to have an Interstate 975 in Florida (SW FLA needs another interstate highway - especially the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area). But alas, I have not seen any plans for one anywhere.

That makes sense, I guess. Thanks! :)
That image was made by SPUI, another roadgeek who lives in Florida. I think he was just making the images just to do it.
And hey, not a problem! I've been waiting on someone to comment on my avatar!! :-D
Maybee they should replace I-275 in Michigan with that!
If they did, I think it'll be the highest numbered Interstate! Of course, I-99 could have an auxiliary I-999
Nah, I-990 is the current record holder.
Or maybe I-97 could become I-995(as some have proposed)
Or, US 322 on the east side of State College, PA could become I-999! :sombrero:
Nah, everyone knows I-999 must be a grand eight-lane spur into the heart of Altoona. ;)

It'd be six at the most.
I-999 would be scary.

Same with I-666. :-D
QuoteSame with I-666.
US 666 has already been decommissioned.

That's what he meant. He was dreaming about driving upside down. :-D
So, SW Florida actually needs another short interstate? How about this: The new Interstate going from the east coast to Fort Myers following Fl. 80 would be called I-0. That would work, I mean 0 is a number.

A road number "0" is not that uncommon, the beltways of Brussels and Budapest are R0 and M0 respectively.
Or I-2 :)
I-0 could be for southern Texas.
There really isn't a need for an interstate I-0 in Southern Texas, more just one going to Brownsville.
Well if you were thinking of one from Corpus Christi to Laredo. Though that still isn't needed.
Or from Brownsville west to McAllen then north to Laredo :colorful:
Yes but that would be more appropriately named I-35. ;-)
Boo! Give Laredo two 'major' interstates :D

Actually, we can decommission I-495 around Washington DC...and recommission it as I-666.....
:) :) :)
If PennDOT can't do it, no one can! Goooooooooooooooooooo PENNDOT!
